Aug 2012: BBB Champions Oil Company will be awarded an exploration licence in Block 10 (Biratnagar) in Southern Nepal. In 1985 one third of Nepal, covering the southern margin Terai region, was divided into 10 blocks. In 1986 Shell and Triton bought Block 10 but failed to find oil.
